Omaha REIA offers an optional SMS notification service for transactional and service-related communications only. This SMS program is used exclusively for transactional and service-related communications. No promotional or marketing messages are sent via this program.

Types of Messages

If you opt in, you may receive text messages related to: event registration confirmations, reminders for events you have registered for, membership renewal notices, account-related updates, and important service notifications (e.g., event cancellations or venue changes).

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity. Typically 2–6 messages per month for active members who register for events.

Opt-In / Opt-Out

SMS consent is collected via an optional, unchecked checkbox on our membership application form, event registration forms, and account profile page. Consent is never pre-checked and is never required to register, purchase, or become a member. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or by unchecking the SMS preference in your account settings. Reply HELP for help.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Privacy of Mobile Numbers

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is used solely for the transactional SMS service described above.
